460 Round Can - Surplus 7.62x51 Ammo -147 Grain FMJ M80 Ball - Made by PMC in South Korea 1980s

20 Rounds per box, 23 boxes packed in an M2A1 ammo can

Brass case, boxer primer, reloadable, non-corrosive. Projectile is magnetic, bi-metal jacket with lead core. This is a rare opportunity to buy real mil-spec M80 surplus 7.62x51 ammo at a price that is lower than what it costs to make today. The ammo and cans show their age to a slight degree, but for the most part is nice clean looking ammo. Some rounds may have minor tarnish but it still goes bang every time and shoots straight, and still functionally good as new for many decades to come.

Customer Reviews

Received my can of ammo today. Fast shipping from SGAmmo as usual. Got a lot from 1983. Can is in excellent shape, had to work to break the seal but the 20 round boxes look just like the ones pictured in the listing, even the tape is still fine. The ammo looks just like the ammo I was using in 1969, a slight tarnishing but works fine in my Ruger Scout rifle in 308. I now have plenty of plinking, target shooting ammo. Thanks for the great deal, SG!
Purchased two cans. Tight seal that's for sure !!! Haven't gone to the club yet to shoot yet but I'm sure they will go "pew!" "Pew!" Both my 50 Cal cans are full. Brass looks good enough to reload as well.
This is great ammo. The brass has only a very slight patina and both of my cans were very tightly sealed. The tape is starting to fall off some of the boxes, but that is trivial. The folks at SGAmmo did a great job of shipping it quickly and both of the cans I ordered were even from the same lot.
i bought 1 can to try it out.shoots accurate and consistant the brass is reloadable but the primer pockets needed to be flared like with most surplus brass.i have a special drill bit for my electric drill just a touch to the pocket does the trick. i reloaded hundreds of rounds with very good results.i purchased 3 more cans for future use as i doubt there will be a better deal for this quality of ammo. i'm set =D
Packed well and looks great for it's age. Still shooting and no problems experienced. Am on my second can and still can't believe what a deal this ammo is.Don't miss out on this bargain for super ammo.
Ordered a can of this in December. Lot number started 003, the ammo and boxes all look great. Just received a second can. Lot number starts 010, most of the ammo has corrosion in varying degrees and all the tape has fallen of the boxes. Reports are the ammo still shoots fine, but don't use it as stash ammo unless you check it first.
Great ammo , nice brass,
Great stuff. Break down is below: The cans:have a very tight seal that once broken is not nearly as tight. Individual boxes: durable enough to reuse if you reload. The ammo: I have found no external flaws or corrosion. Functioned flawlessly even in a barrel that was later replaced that caused other brands to jam! Wasn't wildly different than my current zero and had no issues with consistent hits at 420 yards on steel. Reloading: the cases seem to be of a relatively hard alloy. Possible that it will wear out tooling faster. The primer pockets are concave and not flat at all. The pocket crimps are substantial and you will need a bench mounted swager to remove them. The flash holes have small burr to them and seem slightly small and sometimes off center. This brass will require some work to reload.
Had to pry open can with big screw driver and hammer. Perfectly sealed. Ammo looks brand new and shoots MOA for me on a bench with bipod and monopod. Still shoots MOA at 400 yards. I'm sold. wish I had more money!
Great looking surplus. Solid packaging. Reasonable shipping cost, shipped when specified. Will be ordering more.
