Customer Reviews

This round operates perfectly in my WW SRC, 16" 5.56 chamber carbine length with an Osprey piston kit; no issues at all. However when I tried it in two PSA stainless barreled uppers, I got consistent failures to feed and eject. I think both of those uppers, one a 16" 5.56 NATO chamber mid-length and the other an 18" 223 Wylde chamber rifle length, are short stroking on this round. Both uppers operate fine using brass 223 55 grain and 5.56 55 grain. Could be the bolts are still tight in the carrier. I plan on shooting more of this ammo in those uppers after running more brass through them. Don't see any more than normal fouling in the chambers and BCGs.
I have shot 2000 rnds of this through my Adams Arms 1:7 twist carbine and rifle length weapons. Never had an issue. Shoots 1 to 1.5 moa consistently at 100 yds. Keeps groups almost as tight as the IMI 77 gr stuff that is twice the cost. Getting another 2k rounds to keep up stock. Thanks Sam Gabbert
This is real good practice ammo for 1/7 twist barrels. I get about 1moa at 100 yards with a Criterion hybrid Ar 16" barrel. Only issues noted are with older metal GI mags.a couple of RTFeeds and FTEs that a Magpul mag took care of.
Shoots ok in my AR, which recently has been keyholing lots of 55gr steel case stuff. Really slow though, was getting only getting a little over 2400fps average on the rounds i chronoed.
This ammo is a reasonable alternative to 75/77 grain match ammo. Of course, it isn't as accurate or as consistent, but for practice it is perfect.
