1000 Round Can of 5.56x45 M193 55 grain FMJ Surplus Ammo Made in South Africa by PMP SKU # AM2427

This ammo is packed 50 rounds per box, 4 boxes in a sealed 200 round pack, 5 packs per can. We believe this ammo is 1990s vintage but it is not clearly marked. We test fired some of it and observed brass was all boxer primed, and had non-magnetic projectiles. The ammo was beautiful and looks like new. Please note that some of the ammo cans are banged up and may have dents and broken handles, luck of the draw in can condition but the ammo inside will be perfect. This is true military M193 ammo

I forgot to mention in my review that these 55gr FMJ doesn't have the traditional cannelure but more of a crimping ring. Looks like the groove in the MK318 Mod 0 62gr bullet, or one of the grooves/rings in a Barnes TSX. I haven't gel tested these yet, but Im betting that these will break/fragment more reliably at the cannelure when it yaws as its cut a little deeper than the normal cannelure on other typical 55gr fmj's The powder is naturally a ball powder weighing 26.1gr.
I was going to wait to write a review on these until I bought the last one that SGAmmo has but Ill let someone else get it. Hopefully they get more in stock very soon. Ive used just about every kind of M193 ammo made (almost) and I think these have just become my favorite even over MEN and IMI. These are packed beautifully in vacuum sealed packs of 200 with a large pack of desiccant in each one. The brass has perfect annealing marks and looks beautiful, nice and shiny. This is the only brass Ive ever come across that actually has "M193" headstamped..pretty cool. Its true Milspec M193 with the primer and case mouth sealant and loaded hot like the others. The Primers aren't crimped like traditional crimping but are staked (3 stakes around the primer). This makes reloading easier over the crimped primers. I know most people seem to think that MEN is the best M193 out right now but I have to say these are better. Packed much better and the MEN does not have crimped primers, if you care for that. They shoot every bit as good. The MEN might be slightly more accurate in a rest. This ammo looks so good and is packed/sealed so well, it makes you not want to shoot any of it. It would be a perfect ammo to store long term.
